Insights & Activity

Understanding where your money goes is crucial. Mera Paisaa provides cinematic, easy-to-read analytics to help you decode your spending patterns.

The Insights Dashboard

Tap the Insights icon (the chart) in the bottom navigation bar to access your analytics.

Monthly Overview

At the top, you'll see a line chart displaying your Cash Flow (Income vs. Expense) over the current month.

• Tap any point on the graph to see the exact figures for that day.
• Use the Date Selector at the top right to switch between different months or view a custom date range.

Category Breakdown

Below the graph is a beautiful, interactive pie chart that breaks down your expenses by category.

• The largest slices represent your biggest spending areas.
• Tap a slice to see all transactions associated with that category for the selected time period.

Top Spends

A ranked list of your highest single transactions for the month. This helps you quickly identify large, unusual expenses.

The Activity Timeline

While Insights give you the big picture, the Activity tab gives you the chronological details.

Viewing History

Tap the Activity icon (the clock or list) in the bottom bar.

• Here, every transaction, transfer, and goal funding event is listed in a continuous scrolling timeline, grouped by date.

Advanced Filtering

If you're looking for a specific transaction:

1. Tap the Filter icon at the top right.
2. You can filter by:
   • Type: Only show Income or only show Transfers.
   • Account: Only show transactions from your Credit Card.
   • Category: Show everything spent on "Groceries".
3. Tap Apply to see the filtered timeline.

Exporting Reports

From the Activity screen, you can tap the Export button to generate a clean, formatted PDF or CSV report of the currently filtered view. Perfect for tax season!
