Getting Started with Mera Paisaa
Welcome to Mera Paisaa! This guide will help you set up your account and familiarize yourself with the Dashboard.
Authentication
Mera Paisaa uses a secure, offline-first authentication system to ensure your data remains completely private.
Step 1: Launch the App
When you open Mera Paisaa for the first time, you will be greeted by the welcome screen. Tap Get Started.
Step 2: Set up your PIN or Biometrics
Since your data never leaves your device, we secure it locally:
- Enter a secure 4-digit PIN.
- Confirm the PIN.
- (Optional) Enable Fingerprint or Face ID for faster access.
Step 3: Phone Authentication (Optional Sync)
If you wish to enable encrypted cloud backups, you can link your phone number:
- Navigate to Settings > Account.
- Tap Link Phone Number.
- Enter your mobile number and verify via OTP.
Navigating the Dashboard
The Dashboard is your financial control center. It gives you an immediate overview of your wealth.
The Top Bar
- Total Balance: A consolidated view of all your connected accounts (Cash, Bank, Credit).
- Hide Balance: Tap the eye icon to quickly obscure your balance when in public.
Quick Actions
Below your balance, you'll find quick action buttons:
- Add Expense: Quickly log a new transaction.
- Transfer: Move money between your accounts.
- Add Income: Record incoming funds.
Recent Activity
The main body of the dashboard shows your most recent transactions.
- Swipe left on any transaction to quickly edit or delete it.
- Tap See All to jump into your full activity history.
[!TIP] Privacy Mode: Shake your phone gently to immediately lock the app and hide all balances.
