Budgets & Goals
Take control of your financial future by setting limits and planning for big purchases.
Setting Up Budgets
Budgets help you ensure you don't overspend in specific categories.
Creating a Budget
- Navigate to the Budgets section from the bottom navigation menu.
- Tap Create Budget.
- Select the Category you want to limit (e.g., "Dining Out").
- Set your Monthly Limit (e.g., ₹5,000).
- Choose if you want alerts when you reach 50%, 80%, or 100% of your limit.
- Tap Save.
Tracking Budgets
Your budgets are visualized as progress bars.
- Green means you are well within your limit.
- Orange means you are approaching the limit.
- Red means you have exceeded your budget for the month.
Financial Goals
Goals are for saving up for specific targets, like a new phone or an emergency fund.
Creating a Goal
- Open the Goals section.
- Tap + New Goal.
- Give your goal a Name (e.g., "Goa Trip").
- Set the Target Amount (e.g., ₹25,000).
- (Optional) Set a Target Date to achieve this goal.
- Tap Save Goal.
Funding a Goal
When you have spare money to allocate to a goal:
- Tap on the specific goal card.
- Tap Add Funds.
- Enter the amount you wish to contribute.
- Select the source account the funds are coming from.
- Watch the visual progress ring fill up!
[!NOTE] Funding a goal does not deduct money from your "Total Balance," but it logically sets it aside so you know it's reserved.
