Vicky Prasad Mahato ("we", "us", or "our") built the Mera Paisaa app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Vicky Prasad Mahato at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
1. Data Collection and Use (Offline First)
Mera Paisaa is an offline-first application. The primary function of this app is to help you track your personal finances, budgets, and goals. All financial data is stored locally on your device. If you log in with your Google account, your data is securely backed up and synchronized to the cloud via Google Firebase to enable syncing across devices. In Guest mode, your personal financial data remains strictly local on your device.
2. Firebase Cloud Syncing and Backup
When you use a Google account, your financial data is securely synchronized using Google Firebase infrastructure. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Firebase syncing is used solely to synchronize your financial dashboard, accounts, budgets, and goals across your logged-in devices.
3. Log Data and Crash Reporting
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. This contains NO personal financial data.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all your financial data at any time by:
- Using the "Wipe Data" or "Delete Account" feature within the app settings.
- Clearing the app's data/storage from your device's OS settings.
- Uninstalling the application.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information or financial data to others. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
6. Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
